Free Links

*this is an old article I wrote months ago but just forgot about, only remembered because I brought a pair of adidas shoes and by chance happened across this one:

http://www.adidasfreegift.com/?valid=0&err=%3Ca%20href=%22http://www.seounderworld.com%22%3ESEO%20Tricks%3C%2Fp%3E  -  (adidas loves seo)

Because this is an old post and my memory is short term I can’t guarantee how many still work? but most seem too on testing ;)

Free Links - This is a stupid phrase, but yeah there are free” links out there to be had, after all the best things in life are after all free? Years ago I maintained a list of nice freely available links but over the years they have become poisoned by mass spam tools and noobs wrecking the natural harvestable fruit. The following is not for those people, or is it?
I am dismantling my SEO dashboard so I thought I would give away bits of it – The following is a nice list of websites where if you use your url in the address (usually in a GET request) it will give you effectively a free link from that domain. From there you just need to work out how to get this free link page indexed.

Just make sure you do it amongst a big old amount of chaff, because otherwise its 100% transparent what you’re doing. Anyway theres 1* some freebies, add me to your RSS already. Also I would suspect that goog isn’t stupid too these - but I wouldn’t be suprised if they do somin - maybe they don’t - still exist though. NOTE: you could** just copy this whole list and write a blog post ripping off this one I just posted, that would get them indexed and to be honest I’m cool with that - but if you do stick a link to me at the bottom with somin useful plz k thx.

9 Epic SEO Scripts

Theres a lot of script kiddy chaff out there, so I thought I would group the good stuff together a bit. Here are the nine most memorable seo scripts I have within my short-long term memory, they are all php based and are all written by people whose blogs you should be reading. I personally have used them all at times, often re-writing chunks, personalising and cross server environment modding. This is what you should do with all scripts, learn from them, re-write them your way and give back where possible. Don’t just use - understand them, otherwise your just another fool! Enjoy.

I might even release a few of my modified/self written over the next few weeks…hmmmm..

*Waves : Hello

Hello everyone!! Welcome to SEO underWorld, yet another crappy unskilled seo blog on the net - oh wait - no it isnt!

If you want to read about me checkout the about page - basically its a clean slate from an old website - something to theorize new stuff and lay down a good bit of search engine ranking goodness for all you avid online money makers.

First posts’ are meant to be full of introductions, but rather than introducing myself I thought I would give a few shout’ outs to some blogs I have been reading for a fair while (please note all the following are quality blogs with good writers behind them, doesn’t mean I completely agree with some of what they say! IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER!)

  • Blue Hat (Eli) - Inspirational writer with excellent tech, Confirmed a lot of things I had started last year and SEO Empire is excellent read, I’d go as far as saying it should probably be the first thing you should read before setting off on the deep dark path of bh/greyhat seo.
  • Slightly Shady SEO - About as young as me but with good smarts - Always an interesting read and good tech/seo stuff.
  • Dosh Dosh - Good writer on the nice end of the scale ;)
  • Dark SEO Programming - I came accross this blog when messing about with captcha’s. Techy, but in a good way.
  • 5ubliminal - Excellent bh and nicely techy, good ideas and lots of nice snippets!
  • SEO Theory - Written by Michael Martinez, someone whose writing I have read a lot. Its a public facing seo companies blog really, and that says a lot about it. Quite opinionated but always an interesting read, if only to compare notes.
  • W Shadow - Excellent name, can’t remember how I found this blog but its a good read.
  • The Mad Hat - Again can’t remember how I ended up with this blog in my feedreader but its their, providing a nice bit of madness seo to the mix. Although being serious gets things done, its no fun!
  • Seocracy - Another good look at whats happening - less often but useful posts.

Thats it for now, I have a lot of other stuff in my feed reader but you will all have to wait for my next instalment of friendly mentionings.
